Whoopi Goldberg & Alex Martin At Age 40
After going through three failed marital relationships, Whoopi Goldberg spoke to the New York Times Magazine about marriage not being for her. She still got good things out of it, though, like her daughter Alex Martin, who she had while with her first husband, Alvin Martin, in the ’70s.
Following the footsteps of her actress and comedian mom, Alex dipped her toes into the acting business, with some minor roles in movies like “American Intellectuals” and “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.” She has three kids of her own and is a happily married woman. As for her mom, she had a role in a 2021 show titled “Amphibia.”
