Jürgen Drews no longer needs a big introduction. His smash hit “Ein Bett im Kornfeld” (1976) is still part of the repertoire of every good hit party. The King of Mallorca also regularly got his fans raging on Ballermann, but due to the pandemic, the singer had to take a forced break. Also, in 2021, Drews opened up about suffering from a mental illness. For this reason, too, the singer is probably thinking of cutting back. In his podcast, he said in 2022: “I’m not going to do as many gigs as I used to. I’ve just gotten used to having a rhythm that’s like that of a normal citizen.” Still, we hope that Drews won’t neglect the stage entirely.
