Experience The Ranch Lifestyle
If you are looking to go to Montana for an exclusive and expensive experience, then buckle up because you might get more than you are looking for, just like Antonia Hitchens, who talks about her experience when she visited western Montana. To start off, Hitcher went to one of the most expensive ranches, where she was picked up in an SUV with heated seats. She was provided with gloves and was driven to the ranger right past the Ranch at Rock Creek’s 70 or so horses.
The trip was pleasant as she listened to George Strait and Brooks & Dunn on the country station. Looking outside the window, she recalls that she didn’t see anyone but a group of deer with white tails. When she started shooting at the clay targets, Antonia was taken back by the fact that she had to load up her ammunition, and her guides didn’t do it for her. By day two, Antonia Hitcher had understood that the luxury of this ranch lies in the fact that you aren’t treated as a luxury guest.
It Is A Whole New World
Despite paying a hefty price, Antonia quickly realized that this ranch was all about the experience. Just like you’d go to a spa to relax and get a message, you’d go to a ranch to get the typical American West fantasy. This sense of purpose seemed meaningful for most guests since they got a chance to jump head-first into the concept of genuine connection to the land, even if it is for a short duration or comes with a hefty price tag.
Back to Hitcher’s experience, when she sat down for breakfast, she was asked about the activities for the day, which consisted of rides with a rancher or any other frontier skills. This place is a major attraction for Hollywood elites, rich Saudi families, and even the Royal Family of Qatar. Ranching is considered a lifestyle rather than working the land or making money; this sentiment is shared by the visitors and the locals. One of the Local high schoolers was found selling T-shirts that said ‘Go Home, California’ that came after a developer bought almost all the land around the town.
If You Got Money, You’ve Got It All
As of now, billionaires and other rich people have found a great way to spend their money. The billionaires follow a mentality that makes them think that you might already have mansions, the latest cars, and even a private jet. But you are surely missing out if you don’t have a ranch, and since they have the money, the uber-rich are not afraid to spend it on a ranch for themselves.
Would you consider this ranch lifestyle a great getaway from the regular rowdiness of the cities and the pollution or is this just a marketing gimmick to sell you things you don’t need?
