Woodward was going to face the judge for another offense he had committed but it looked like he was going to escape unscathed from the Jackson case. All the evidence plus his notorious background made him the most likely candidate but none of these were enough to implicate him.
It was starting to look like whoever had committed the heinous act would go away scot-free. Even though Howard was happy that Jackson had received adequate treatment at the animal clinic and was now doing fine, she couldn’t help being still angry.
